After folding, stringing, and wrapping the cranes the end results were worth all the effort.
We marked every tissue paper that contained the cranes with the colors such that it would be easier to coordinate hanging them in a gradient. Initially the frame was set at an angle, resting upon a pair of chairs such that the strands could be tied on.
Above, family members place the frame into its stand.
Below, family members use ladders and cardboard tubes to adjust the arrangement of the crane strands.
Over 700 cranes in 6″ and 8″ paper composed the backdrop which served as a photography backdrop and focal point for the wedding.
Total Project Time: 45.5 Hours (1 hour to hang, 19.5 hours to string, 25 hours to fold)
